Solstice Backus-Little currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA but has spent most of her life on the east coast of Florida. She graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University in DeLand, FL. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Studio Art with a specialization in Painting, and a minor in Digital Arts.

Solstice likes strong contrast, exciting colors, principles of art and design, the sun, and interesting people. She looks forward to living out her twenties in bars listening to live music and meeting strangers.

She is unsure of what the future holds for her artistically after undergrad but she is very interested in dipping her toes into different artistic communities, participating in residencies, and potentially graduate school in the future. Let's make some art.
