Who do we surround ourselves with? What do we spend time consuming and enjoying?

Often subconscious, these choices heavily shape our everyday experiences. My senior show focuses and reflects on the media, relationships, and content that I invest my time into. My interest in people -- their opinions, their interactions, their relationships -- is one of the primary forces in my work. This is shown in the use of my own reference photos of friends and myself that depict intimate, candid moments. The overwhelming and overlapping visual aspects of the paintings hint at the line between influence and dependency.
